Red Starfish on Carnelian

Item #1210

This piece features the Red-hued Blown Glass Starfish on a strand of hand-knotted Carnelian Roundels.  The Carnelian Roundels measure approximately 4-5mm.  The Carnelian dramatically enhances the Red and Deep Coral tones of the Starfish, and the detail and depth of that Starfish stand out.  The small glass beads on the Starfish resemble tiny beads of Carnelian.  This piece is simple yet will still turn heads!

Examine the detail of this lovely Starfish.  Tiny glass beads form the texture of the Starfish and the way that the colors come together create a truly natural and realistic rendering of a gorgeous Starfish.  Each piece reflects a love of and connection to our precious ocean treasures--the ocean's inhabitants.  These pieces help remind us that we all play an important role in the stewardship of our natural resources, and a commitment to keeping our oceans clean and healthy for those that dwell in her waters.  The five arms of the Starfish are symbolic of the five forms of earthly happiness:  Wealth, Longevity, Peace, Virtue and Health.

Each Starfish is handmade and is truly a work of art.  No two are alike (please note that the same Starfish was used for the sample photographs).  This is like wearing a small piece of sculpture.

Shown in Sterling Silver.  Also available in Gold-filled and 14kt Gold options.  Starfish is connected to Freshwater Pearl necklace with a simple and elegant Sterling Silver enhancer to allow the wearer to mix and match with their own necklaces and chains.

The Carnelian necklace measures approximately 16" and the necklace is adjustable with a 2" extension chain.  This necklace can be custom made to any desired length.
